Utilizing the optional removable center mesh plate accommodates the factory sensors, otherwise every grille guard comes pre-drilled with provisions that allow for retaining full functionality of this feature.

Exterior Step for Accessing Engine Compartment

The 2019-2024 RAM 6.7L Cummins Westin Sportsman X Grille Guard features a heavy-duty 1-5/8" outer steel tubing construction with 2-1/4" wide upright rubber strips. This durable construction is E-coated with a base that provides corrosion resistance, then is finished with a textured black coat. What makes this grill guard truly unique is the plate design that provides the best support possible for the outer wings. The headlight area also has 3/4" crossbars to provide sturdiness to the wings. Beyond the strength and resiliency, this grille guard is stylish too with its euro top center bar. When you eventually need to access your engine compartment, you might think that having this on your build would block you from doing so. To allow you easy access, an exterior step plate is included for your to use as a boost. This step is made more safe and secure with a die stamped stepping area that creates maximum traction. Not only can you use this grille guard to get some extra front end protection and add some aggressive styling, but you can incorporate an optional lighting upgrade as well. It will accommodate a 26" dual row LED light bar that can be flush mounted in the center. When it comes to installation, the process should go smoothly as all of the necessary hardware and mounting brackets are included.
