If you’ve ever struggled to see clearly in your cab, engine bay, or gear area after dark, this little powerhouse from Baja Designs might be exactly what you’re missing. Whether you're out in the garage late or setting up for a trail run before sunrise, this light is the perfect sidekick to help you see what you’re doing. It’s designed to mount pretty much anywhere with nothing more than a 12-volt power connection, so you’re not stuck with limited install options. The built-in switch is a nice touch too, no fumbling with your vehicle’s wiring or reaching for a separate controller. And with its waterproof construction, this light keeps shining through rain, mud, and dust like a champ. It’s one of those handy upgrades that makes your rig more functional without the hassle.

Engineered For Clarity In Any Condition

The Baja Designs 398051 White LED Dome Light with Switch delivers 400 lumens of clear, consistent illumination powered by just 4 watts and a 0.4 amp draw. Built for universal use across any 12V system, it’s ideal for lighting up engine bays, interiors, wheel wells, or even toolboxes with precision and ease. The compact 2.7 by 1.2-inch housing has a low-profile depth of 0.45 inches, allowing it to fit seamlessly into tight or awkward spaces. A 180-degree optic ensures the beam spreads evenly across a wide area, reducing harsh shadows and hotspots for better visibility. This model includes a tube mount that makes installation secure and flexible, especially in off-road or custom applications where traditional mounts fall short. The housing is fully waterproof, offering excellent protection in outdoor and rugged environments. It does include a caution note, when used for extended periods, the light may become hot to the touch, so it’s wise to plan placement accordingly.
