Each one of these ARP Duramax Head Studs are made from ARP's proprietary 2000 material, rated at 220,000 PSI tensile strength, complete with insanely strong threads that are rolled after being heat-treated for optimum fatigue strength. Moreover, included in this kit come heat-treated, chromoloy steel 12-point nuts and parallel ground washers, with a black oxide finish for extreme durability. This ensures ample clamping force to prevent the cylinder heads from shifting even after stacking on any turbocharger upgrades, aggressive tuning, and any other extreme modifications. When it comes to installation, these heads are a direct replacement of your factory components and even come standard with broached ends to make the mounting and removal process that much easier. This kit even includes 1/2oz of ARP assembly lubricant to ensure the process runs safely and smoothly.
