Maximize your range and minimize fuel stops with the S&B 10-1010 65 Gallon Replacement Fuel Tank, purpose-built for 2004–2010 GM 6.6L Duramax Crew Cab Long Bed trucks. This high-capacity tank nearly doubles your fuel range, giving you 65 gallons of diesel-carrying capability—31 more gallons than the restrictive factory tank.
Crafted from heavy-duty crosslink polyethylene, this tank offers unmatched durability, chemical resistance, and long-term reliability. Its baffled internal design helps reduce fuel slosh during acceleration, braking, and cornering—leading to a quieter ride and a more consistent fuel supply under load.
Designed as a direct replacement, the tank retains use of your factory sending unit and fuel system connections. There’s no cutting or welding required, and all mounting straps are included for a hassle-free install.
Unlike other aftermarket tanks, S&B’s design even provides three extra gallons over comparable competitor models—giving you more fuel per fill and more time on the road.

The fuel gauge will function properly, though it may stay at “Full” until ~4–5 gallons are used.
DTE (Distance to Empty) cannot be reprogrammed on GM trucks and may reflect only half the actual range.
If the truck temporarily shows "Empty" at full tank, a simple restart will reset the gauge behavior.
The larger footprint of the tank offers a greater fuel reserve when the low fuel light activates.
