Each lock features a proprietary security key pattern that makes it incredibly difficult to pick, giving you more peace of mind when you're parked in an unknown location. Whats more, each lock comes standard with a 60 degree head taper which prevents removal of the bolt with pliers, ensuring your winch won't be taken with force. The simple fail proof design ensures consistent and reliable performance of the lock without any clumsy, traditional key mechanisms that tend to corrode over time.

High-Quality Construction & Installation Info

Factor 55 constructed their Winch Lock from 1045 carbon steel heat treated to Grade 5 yield strength, making it incredibly durable for many year to come. The lock is then finished with a zinc chromate that helps combat the damaging effects of both rust and corrosion, ensuring minimal wear and tear and impressive longevity. The winch lock cannot be removed with ordinary tools such as screwdrivers or common security bits, it can only be removed with the special corded security key that allows for both end and side access. Simply substitute one of your winch mounting bolts with the Winch Lock an you're winch will stay protected!
