The PPE 228052004 Transmission Pan Gasket is a direct replacement gasket for the 68RFE or 65RFE automatic transmission in 2007-2024 Dodge and Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. Whether you are doing a fluid and filter service on a truck that tows every weekend or installing a PPE transmission pan, this gasket gives you a fresh seal to build the job around. A worn or reused gasket is one of the easiest ways to end up with a slow leak and a low transmission. This one is built to be durable and leak resistant, so the fluid stays where it belongs. It works with both OEM and PPE transmission pans, which means you are not locked into one setup. Since it is a direct fit replacement, there is nothing to modify or guess about. PPE also lists a lifetime manufacturer warranty, which says a lot about how they stand behind it.

How A Metal Core And Molded Rubber Work Together

The 228052004 is a compound gasket, which means two materials share the sealing job. A metal core gives the gasket a rigid backbone so it holds its shape during handling and installation. Molded rubber on the sealing surface gives the gasket something to compress against the pan and the transmission case. That combination is what PPE relies on for a durable, leak resistant seal during service or installation. The gasket is designed for the 68RFE or 65RFE automatic transmission on Dodge and Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. It fits both OEM and PPE transmission pans. The OEM reference number is 68425659AA, which helps when you are cross checking parts before you order. PPE lists the manufacturer warranty as lifetime, so check PPE for the full terms.

Fitment: 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 Dodge/Ram 2500/3500 68RFE/65RFE

Notes:

Fits 2007-2024 Dodge and Ram 2500/3500 models

Designed to seal the 68RFE or 65RFE automatic transmission

Confirm your truck's transmission before ordering

Direct replacement gasket

Compound design with a metal core and molded rubber sealing surface

Works with both OEM and PPE transmission pans

OEM reference number is 68425659AA

PPE lists a lifetime manufacturer warranty

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0738/2279/8108/files/Gasket-68RFE-transmission-pan_228052004_1_2500x_2d852eef-e4d0-4abf-9eee-2bc323ab2c32.webp?v=1793642143
https://www.alligatorperformance.com/products/ppe-228052004-gasket-for-dodge-ram-68rfe-65rfe-transmission-pan-2007-2024-dodge-ram-2500-3500-cummins
