Offers Impressive Cooling Ability

The Ford 10R80 is a fantastic transmission, however like many transmissions, it is vulnerable to creating high heat. High heat destroys transmissions internals and scorches fluid, this reduces performance and transmission life. PPE's Heavy Duty Cast Aluminum Transmission Pan provides much greater cooling over the stock plastic pan, using exterior fins that transfer heat away from the internals. These lower fluid temperatures extend the transmission life and keep it running for many years to come.

Adds Magnetic Drain Plug

The PPE Heavy-Duty 10R80 Transmission Pan also features our high-power Neodymium magnet-equipped drain plug to keep harmful metal contaminants out of the transmission internals. Metal particles can destroy a transmission and lead to a costly repair, the benefit of a magnetic drain plug cannot be understated.
