It's fire-ringed directly in the head, using 4.550 inch diameter rings for added combustion sealing under high boost loads. Eleven screw-in freeze plugs are installed to eliminate the risk of coolant leaks, a common failure point in modified builds. It comes equipped with hardened, oversized press-in valve seats and new valve guide liners for long-term reliability under extreme conditions. Manley 1.300 inch stainless steel valves, 105 lb valve springs, and steel retainers complete the valvetrain, offering the strength needed for high RPM abuse and heavy towing alike. This head is 100 percent reconditioned, ready to install, and includes all documentation for the required core and crate return.
