Power Levels for 2001-2005  Trucks: 

 

1. Optimized Stock -Power delivery smoother than stock with near stock output -Refined timing tables for lower EGTs and higher efficiency

 

2. Heavy Tow Tune* +40rwhp over stock- Refined timing tables for lower EGTs- Throttle pedal revised for simplified low speed trailer maneuvering- Built for towing loads from 8000lbs to gross vehicle weight. 

 

3. Light Tow Tune*+60rwhp over stock -Refined timing tables for lower EGTs -Throttle pedal revised for simplified low speed trailer maneuvering -Built for towing loads under 8000lbs

 

4. Sport Econ +80rwhp over stock -Best balance of power reliability and efficiency for unloaded daily driving -Low smoke output -Throttle sensitivity increased for less throttle input, quicker shifting and less average RPM in daily driving situations

 

5. Stock Trans Race Tune -+100rwhp over stock –Maximum horsepower tune for stock transmission- If abused, has the potential to shorten the life of your stock transmission –Typically will run mid 14’s near 93 MPH on a truck setup for drag racing

*2004.5 and up models feature turbine braking feature which adds up to 120 brake HP through manipulation of the turbocharger vanes while decelerating with a load.  Keep the heat off your brakes on those long grades!

 

Using TCM tuning in conjunction with our ECM tuning yields the ultimate combo for consistency and driveability.  Our updates improve torque converter clutch engagement routines, improve shift feel and minimize defuel.  This product is recommended on all Duramax trucks equipped with the Allison trans.

 

This product includes: DSP5 tuning, SPADE tool, DSP5 switch, and installation hardware
