The actual filter on this S&B Cold Air Intake is much larger than your factory air filter which result in better performance and more protection for your engine. This particular unit comes standard with a cotton cleanable 8-layer filter that does a much better job at keeping dust and debris from entering the engine. This allows this intake to better combat inclement weather and extreme driving applications without compromise.
