Sinister Diesel has reinvented the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler with this great new model for the 6.0L Powerstroke with the same fit as the stock unit from Ford. A major concern with the factory EGR Cooler is that when the internal brazing cracks, it will allow coolant to be sucked into the intake manifold. From the manifold it enters the combustion chamber which usually results in a blown head gasket or hydro-locked motor and costly repair bills for thousands of dollars!
