The 2007-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax LMM (The 8th digit in the VIN is "6") was the first and last of it's kind.  This year the vehicle was equipped with EGR, DOC & DPF to meet 2007 EPA standards, which meant lower tailpipe emissions at the cost of efficiency and fuel mileage.   To counter that, there are a host of modifications that can make this truck run harder, pull better, run cooler and live longer, all the while using less fuel.
