The Duramax Quick Boost Tap was engineered with simplicity in mind. The process of installing a boost gauge on a duramax consists of disassembling the intake portion of the engine to drill and tap it for a boost fitting. The Quick Boost Tap is designed to plug directly into the map sensor hole and is drilled and tapped in the machining process to 1/8th pipe which is compatible with all boost fittings. Saves 1 to 3 hours of labor time along with only removing and installing 1 bolt.
