The housing features an attractive black diamond plate cover with a lazer-cut logo name plate that provides ready access to the filter for servicing and an aggressive style. This intake system also features a heat-insulating molded plastic tube that replaces the stock intake tract all the way to the turbo and directs increased air flow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum performance. This intake features the patented Pro Guard 7 performance air filter that features 5-layers of progressive cotton gauze and 2-layers of synthetic media and has a 99.7% filter efficiency rating.  The Pro Guard 7 filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.
